Operation

Collecting Search Data After installing the script, PageDrill will begin logging search referral data to the database.

Retrieving Search History Simply navigate to s.php on your server and log in. You can query the database with the following parameters using the HTML form:

Search Engine Choose "Google", "Yahoo", "MSN" or "All Engines". Choosing "All Engines" will return all search referrals from Google, Yahoo and MSN.

Search Phrase Enter a keyword or keyword phrase if looking for search referrals from particular keywords. (Entering a single keyword will return all phrases that contain that keyword.) Leave this field empty to return all keyword phrases for a query.

Page Choose which of your web pages to retrieve search history for. Choose "All Pages" to return search data for all of the pages you are monitoring with PageDrill.

Date Choose "Today", "Yesterday", "Last 7 Days", "Last 30 Days" or choose "Custom" to enter a particular date range. If you choose "Custom", enter the beginning and ending year, month and day in the format YYYY MM DD.

Hit "Search" to perform your query and view the results.

Managing Users The script is installed with a default user/administrator with username and password "admin". You should change the username and password to your own with the control panel the first time you log in. The administrator has privileges to edit, delete, and lock user accounts. Additional users may register at /protect/register.php and will be given basic user privileges to run reports and edit their own account. The administrator may grant other users administrator privileges in the control panel.
